I am in the midst of working on Project 365 (attached here if you're interested; http://photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/) in which you take a photo each day and after a full year, you have recounted an entire year of your life, day by day. I started on January 20th, 2009, not to be cheesey but I had an amazing picture from Inauguration morning and decided, why not start now?
I am now on day 174 of 365 and just now realized that starting a photoblog would be a cool idea. So here goes. I'll do my best to post that days photo or any other photos I thought were cool, intriguing, amazing, from that day or previous. Feel free to comment! I'll also add a tiny description of location and other relevant information so you don't look at my photo and go, "wow, great, what is this?"
Since it's almost 10am, I don't have a photo for today but based on my feelings about the concert I'm going to tonight, I will :). But I will post one from yesterday and the day prior to get your photo jitters going.
I took this photo while walking down Embassy Row with my parents. These red stakes used to be used hundred of years ago as warning systems for towns people to alert the police. Now, in DC, they are used to explain a little bit about the area you're standing in. In DuPont they explain a little about the history of the embassies and here on Embassy Row this dove of peace in litered with flags from different countries, with a description about diplomacy.
This photo from yesterday was my father's dinner from Hanks Oyster Bar, apparently a must visit in DC if you're into the raw bar atmosphere. After being at work all day my dad's east and west coast oysters were a nice subject.
More tomorrow!
