The Army Ten Miler Edition
The roads while empty. Not for long.
This man was playing the flute while running. Show off.
There are my guys at mile 7!
And off they go!

Today was a very dark day.
I got a phone call at 2:30am alerting me of a press check scheduled to start at 4:45am. Did you know that there's little to no traffic at 4:30 in the morning? I was in the building while it was still dark outside. I came home and slept until 7pm, having gotten little sleep last night. It's also dark at 7pm. Not too much sunlight today.

Point Focus Flash is OPEN!
My mom, sister and I have started a business on Etsy selling our photos!
Point Focus Flash is the brain child of Natalie, Susan, and Dana. Natalie and Susan take the majority of our fabulous photographs and Dana thinks up ways to market and sell them, as well as maintaining our Etsy shop. We have our cameras with us virtually all the time and love to find a little art in every day. We are located in the fair city of Washington, D.C., as well as the wilds of suburban central New Jersey, but have taken photographs all over the globe, and hope to continue to do so for years to come. Among our current favorite things to photograph are funny signs, animals doing adorable things, and funky plant life. We appreciate good art, good food, and a good sense of humor.
So head on over to http://www.pointfocusflash.etsy.com and check out our first set of photos listed!
If you have time, please visit our sister shop at www.54pineapples.etsy.com to browse through some of Susan's handmade creations - we’ve got a wide selection of gifts and accessories you won’t find anywhere else!
And be sure to follow us over at our blog!

54 Pineapples is OPEN!
My mom and my sister have opened a store called 54 Pineapples!
"54pineapples is the collaborative result of Susan and Dana. Susan handcrafts our fabulous inventory and Dana handles the business of our little venture, including filling orders and answering your emails. When we're not catching up on our favorite shows or listening to our music played very loudly, we can be spotted working on the backyard deck, at the local coffee shop and library, or anywhere Dana can get a 3G signal on her iPhone. We are constantly experimenting, brainstorming, and thinking of new things to make, and often find ourselves saying "I wonder if we could make something like this, only better." We enjoy pineapples, sunshine, good grammar, and our own homemade chocolate covered pretzels."
